Light a Candle
Judith “Judy” Piche, age 72, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan passed away Monday evening, October 24, 2016 in her home. Judy was born on June 29, 1946 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to the late Joseph and Edith (McKay). On April 1, 1978, she married Lawrence Piche at St. Mary’s Church in Sault Ste. Marie. Judy enjoyed gardening and her many artistic talents such as painting and knitting. She loved spending time with her many grandchildren and would attend as many of their sporting and school events as possible. Judy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and various other Charities. Judy is survived by: two daughters: Terri Piche and Lisa (Murray) Meehan both of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; three sons: Chris (Anna) Piche, Michael (Rene) Piche, and Bill (Theresa) Henderson all of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; 13 grandchildren: Erica, Justa, Kierstie, Kanton, Chelsea, Chase, Mallory, Nathan, Alyson, Madyson, Jenna, Garrett, and MacKenzie; and 5 great grandchildren: Quintin, Morgan, Gyselle, Nash, and Noah. She is also survived by a brother: Roger Piche of DeTour, MI; a sister: Joan Atkins of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; and a special brother: Joseph McKay of Sault Ste. Marie, MI. There will be a visitation held from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Hovie Funeral Home. At 1:30 PM, that same day a funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
